The Role
EVRaid is seeking a highly driven Investment & Portfolio Manager to lead fundraising execution, investor relations, investment analysis, and strategic funding opportunities.
Working directly with the Founder & CEO, this role will be responsible for positioning EVRaid for institutional investment and supporting the company’s next phase of industrialization and African expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage EVRaid’s pipeline of VCs, CVCs, family offices, DFIs, Africa-focused funds, and strategic investors.
- Drive fundraising activities from investor targeting and outreach through due diligence and closing.
- Own EVRaid’s financial model, valuation, investment case, pitch deck, data room, and investor reporting.
- Identify and secure grants, government programs, development funding, and strategic financing opportunities.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, partnerships, JVs, and expansion projects.
- Monitor portfolio performance, capital allocation, ROI, cash requirements, and key investment KPIs.
- Develop strong relationships across the African, MENA, and international investment ecosystem.
- Provide the CEO and management team with market, investment, and transaction intelligence.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in VC, PE, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or startup fundraising.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal execution capabilities.
- Existing investor/funding network in Africa and MENA is highly preferred.
- Exposure to deep tech, automotive, EV, energy, climate tech, or industrial businesses is a major advantage.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial, highly proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing technology company.
