    Supply Chain Specialist

    Smart Village, Egypt

    EVRaid is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to support and optimize the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, supporting inventory planning, monitoring logistics operations, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production and project execution.

    The role requires solid experience in supply chain operations within manufacturing, electronics, batteries, automotive, or industrial environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, experience in procurement and supplier coordination, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable supply chain performance while supporting the company’s operational objectives and growth plans. 

    Responsibilities

    • Support and coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and material planning.
    • Execute procurement activities for raw materials, electronic components, batteries, mechanical parts, and production-related items.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with local and international suppliers and service providers.
    • Participate in supplier negotiations related to pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to support cost optimization initiatives.
    • Prepare and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely material availability and delivery.
    • Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning to minimize shortages and excess stock.
    • Coordinate closely with production, engineering, sales, finance, and operations teams to align material requirements with business needs.
    • Support demand forecasting and supply planning activities to ensure production continuity.
    • Coordinate logistics activities, shipments, and import/export documentation when required.
    • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Support sourcing and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain function.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain performance.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and quality standards.
    • Support budgeting activities and collaborate with finance teams on purchasing forecasts and payment schedules.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement and supply chain activities.

    Must Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Operations.
    • Experience in manufacturing, electronics, battery, industrial, automotive, or technology-related industries is highly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier management processes.
    • Experience dealing with local and international suppliers.
    • Good understanding of import/export procedures and logistics operations.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
    • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
    • Good command of English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Nice to have

    • Experience sourcing electronic components, PCBs, batteries, or automotive-related materials.
    • Knowledge of demand planning, inventory optimization, and forecasting techniques.
    • Experience participating in process improvement or supply chain optimization projects.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo.
