The Business Development Manager will lead EVRaid’s commercial growth across sales, strategic partnerships, and investor-facing business support. The role requires an engineering background with strong product know-how, enabling the candidate to understand technical requirements, shape customer-oriented solutions, support product positioning, and contribute effectively to investment discussions, due diligence preparation, and commercial deal closure.
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and sales activities from opportunity identification through negotiation and closing.
- Build and manage relationships with customers, strategic partners, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the CEO in investment discussions by preparing commercial updates, traction narratives, business materials, and follow-up actions.
- Organize and maintain EVRaid’s data room and support due diligence processes with structured commercial and business documentation.
- Work closely with engineering and leadership teams to translate customer needs into commercially viable technical solutions.
- Contribute to product positioning, go-to-market inputs, and roadmap discussions based on market feedback and customer pain points.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, partnership structures, and business cases for customers, partners, and investors.
- Maintain pipeline reporting, CRM discipline, and commercial forecasting across active opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with technical, legal, financial, and operational teams to support closing of both commercial and strategic deals.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, Strong product know-how, with the ability to understand technical features, system-level value propositions, customer use cases, and product-market fit.
- technical sales, strategic partnerships, product-commercial roles, or related functions in EV, mobility, automotive, energy, or technology sectors.
- Ability to engage confidently in both engineering-level and executive-level discussions.
- Experience in preparing proposals, managing deal cycles, and supporting contract or partnership negotiations.
- Strong organizational ability in managing data rooms, diligence materials, follow-ups, and reporting workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Background in EV systems, battery systems, power electronics, charging, fleet mobility, or e-powertrain solutions.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Exposure to fundraising support, investor communication, or due diligence coordination.
