Job Summary
The Investment Associate will work closely with the CEO and management team to manage EVRaid’s investment activities and investor relationships.
The role will be responsible for maintaining investment records, supporting fundraising rounds, preparing financial and investment analysis, coordinating investor due diligence, managing investment documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely communication with existing and potential investors.
This is a highly cross-functional role involving Investment, Finance, Fundraising, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development.
Responsibilities
- Investment & Investor Management: -
- - Maintain accurate records of all investors, investments, equity ownership, SAFE notes, convertible instruments, and funding commitments.
- - Maintain and regularly update the company’s cap table and investment database.
- - Manage investor information, documentation, communications, and follow-ups.
- - Prepare regular investor reports, updates, and performance dashboards.
- - Track investment commitments, fund transfers, closing requirements, and outstanding investor actions.
- - Maintain a structured investor CRM and ensure all investor interactions are properly documented.
- Fundraising & Investment Transactions: -
- - Support the CEO and management team throughout fundraising rounds, from investor outreach through closing.
- - Research and identify potential VCs, strategic investors, family offices, institutional investors, and other funding sources.
- - Prepare investor lists, investment pipelines, and fundraising trackers.
- - Support the preparation and review of term sheets, SAFE notes, investment agreements, and other transaction documents.
- - Coordinate with legal and financial advisors during investment transactions.
- - Track transaction milestones and ensure all required documents and approvals are completed.
- Financial & Investment Analysis: -
- - Build and maintain financial and investment models.
- - Analyze company performance, financial projections, valuation scenarios, and investment structures.
- - Support valuation analysis and preparation of fundraising scenarios.
- - Prepare investment presentations, financial summaries, investor decks, and management reports.
- - Monitor key financial and operational KPIs relevant to investors.
- Investor Due Diligence: -
- - Coordinate investor due diligence processes.
- - Maintain and organize the company’s investor data room.
- - Collect and coordinate financial, legal, commercial, technical, and corporate documents required by investors.
- - Ensure information provided to investors is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
- - Coordinate internally with Finance, Legal, HR, Engineering, Operations, and Management to fulfill investor requests.
- Management Support: -
- - Prepare materials for investor meetings, board meetings, fundraising discussions, and management reviews.
- - Support the CEO in investor communications and follow-ups.
- - Provide management with regular updates on the fundraising pipeline, investor status, commitments, and transaction progress.
- - Conduct market and investment research related to EV, battery, mobility, energy storage, and automotive technology sectors.
Must Have
- - Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- - 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Investor Relations, or a similar role.
- - Strong understanding of equity investments, fundraising, valuation, cap tables, SAFE notes, and investment transactions.
- - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- - Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
- - Excellent written and spoken English.
- - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial and corporate information.
- - Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- - Previous experience in a startup, VC-backed company, VC fund, PE firm, or investment bank.
- - Experience supporting seed, Series A, or growth-stage fundraising.
- - Experience with SAFE notes, convertible notes, term sheets, and shareholder agreements.
- - Experience managing investor data rooms and due diligence processes.
- - Knowledge of the EV, automotive, battery, energy, or mobility sectors is a strong advantage.
- - CFA, FMVA, MBA, or similar financial qualification is a plus.
