EVRAID is looking for a skilled *Meshing Engineer* with hands-on experience in Automotive Interior Plastic Parts, particularly Instrument Panel (IP) and Dashboard components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality finite element (FE) meshes, validating model quality, defining connections, and supporting simulation teams by delivering production-ready CAE models.
This role requires close collaboration with internal CAE teams, customers, and external meshing vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality surface and volume FE meshes for Instrument Panel (IP), Dashboard, and Automotive Interior Plastic components.
- Perform mesh quality checks and ensure compliance with project and customer standards.
- Create and validate FE connections, including:
*RBE2 / RBE3
* CBUSH elements
* Weld representations
* Bolt representations
* Material and thickness assignments - Review and validate FE mesh deliverables received from external meshing vendors.
- Coordinate with outsourcing partners to maintain quality, schedules, and technical standards.
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into executable meshing tasks.
- Prepare project estimates, planning, and technical clarification documents.
- Support project leads during execution and delivery.
- Deliver validated FE models to Durability and Crash Simulation teams.
- Support development cycles including Baseline, Loop 1, and Loop 2 model releases.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Automotive CAE Meshing.
- Strong experience with Automotive Interior Plastic Parts (IP/Dashboard) meshing.
- Excellent understanding of Structural and Crash FE mesh generation.
- Strong knowledge of:
*Surface and volume meshing
* Mesh quality criteria
* Connection methodologies
* Material and thickness assignment
* Good understanding of Strength of Materials fundamentals.
* Experience reviewing and validating outsourced CAE models.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills with customers and vendors.
