EVRaid is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Production Engineer to lead the daily production activities and support the technical operation of the production line for EV powertrain and battery-related products. The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth manufacturing operations, optimizing production efficiency, solving technical issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production, quality, and safety targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, production line operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within automotive, EV, electronics, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- • Lead and supervise the daily production process on the manufacturing line.
- • Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently.
- • Monitor production KPIs including productivity, downtime, yield, and scrap rate.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve production and process-related technical issues.
- • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
- • Analyze root causes of production failures and implement corrective actions.
- • Ensure proper implementation of work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.
- • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to ensure smooth operations.
- • Monitor equipment and tooling performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- • Support line balancing, takt time optimization, and process improvement activities.
- • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- • Prepare daily production reports and technical documentation.
- • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process setup activities.
- • Support implementation of lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
- • Coordinate and guide the technical production team, operators, and technicians.
Must Have
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- • 3–5 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations.
- • Experience in automotive, EV, battery systems, electronics manufacturing, or industrial production is preferred.
- • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line operations.
- • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- • Good knowledge of production KPIs and process optimization techniques.
- • Ability to analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- • Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, and Control Plans is an advantage.
- • Good communication and leadership skills.
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
